We are eager to hear from people with either arts or environmental/social justice
backgrounds whose values broadly align with our mission. Since becoming a registered
charity in 2019, we have been bringing together artists, experts and civil society groups in
exciting ways to figure out and communicate what “system change not climate change”
might mean.

We are open to receive applications from people at any stage in their life or career journey.
We are a very small charity, above and beyond the CV building opportunity that being a Trustee will provide you,
this is also an opportunity for you to contribute ideas and contacts, and help shape our next phase of activity
to the extent you have time. While not essential, applicants with some fundraising
experience, or who are happy to occasionally help out with a funding application or strategy
will be highly regarded.
The time commitment for a Board member is small : 3 or 4 Board Meetings a year – these
are usually held online on Wednesday evenings at 8pm, plus a goal to meet in person at
least once per year for an Annual Away Day. If you are able and interested to help out
beyond this, for occasional meetings with funders or influencers, or to attend
exhibitions/events when we have them, that would be wonderful and would ensure you feel
fully part of the Swarm circle. In person meetings are usually held in London or Brighton
