Oxana is a strategic advisor at Swarm Dynamics. She is a degrowth activist and researcher doing her PhD in environmental sustainability and well-being. Her research focuses on degrowth as a movement and political project, the capitalist imaginary and Indigenous cosmologies. She is passionate about studying how different ways of thinking about human life and society could support the transition to more sustainable and equitable ways of living. Previously she also did research on such topics as financialisation and the scarcity/abundance dichotomy and also worked for 7 years in the international renewable energy sector. As an activist, she has been involved in educational initiatives on degrowth, has been a member of the Degrowth Talks collective and of the research working group of the international degrowth movement.
