If we keep valuing what really matters, what might change…?
A recent petition in the UK calls for the opening up of private golf courses to allow more green spaces to exercise in during social distancing, reflecting the realisation that not everyone is privileged enough to have their own garden and lawn to exercise in. How else could we reclaim ‘the commons’ back from corporations or the mega-rich? Or, let’s consider work. The concept of ‘essential workers’ has opened up space to rethink what success and status should mean. If we keep valuing what really matters, what radical changes could you imagine?
